Registered Massage Therapist, and Prenatal Massage
Sarah graduated in 2016 from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy and is in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. She specializes in deep tissue therapy but loves creating treatments for more therapeutic relaxation massages. Her goal being to help her clients de-stress from daily physical and emotional strains, she has been an asset to athletes who are recovering from or looking to prevent injuries. Sarah has found a passion and excitement for treating athletes of all sports and ages through Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Deep Tissue Massage. She is also Level One Craniosacral Therapy trained, and incorporates this knowledge into every treatment, more so to provide relief from TMJD and migraines, but also to help with anxiety and insomnia. Having grown up in a military family in Smithers, BC, helping Canada’s veterans, RCMP, and general first responders is an important cause to Sarah. Therefore, she is billable with Medavie Blue Cross and the Veterans Association.
"It is important to me that each client is treated in accordance to their own specific needs, be that an old physical injury that never fully recovered or simply having had a long and overwhelming day. I believe that educating the client and giving them tools to take with them into life is necessary for improving our overall quality of life. When we care for ourselves first, we are better equipped to care for others around us.”
Sarah moved to Calgary in late 2013 and is happy to now call the city “home” with her husband. Since moving here, she has ran a half marathon, survived a Tough Mudder, and developed an obsession with rock climbing. Away from work, you can find her in the library or in the mountains.
